Sub State is a browser-based hip-hop and trap music tool built for fast beat sketching, scene building, and song structure experiments.

Instead of staying stuck in one loop, you can work with 8 scenes, each holding its own variation of drums, bass, chords, and hook patterns. Select a scene, hit RNDM SCENE, and instantly generate a new idea. Repeat that across all 8 scenes and you can build a full bank of variations in minutes.

The app is designed for two different workflows. You can use RNDM SCENE to generate material quickly and discover unexpected combinations, or you can clear a scene and write your own patterns from scratch. That makes it useful both as an inspiration tool and as a hands-on trap sketchpad.

With drums, bass, chords, and hook parts spread across 8 scenes, Sub State helps you move from a single beat into something that feels more like a full arrangement. Build rough ideas fast, swap between scenes, refine the best parts, and shape them into a track.
